Advocacy is Action

At Winnebago County Citizens for Choice, advocacy means turning values into action. We believe protecting reproductive freedom requires education, civic engagement, community organizing, and persistent action to remove barriers to care.

Education

Knowledge is Power

We work to provide accurate, evidence-based information about reproductive health, abortion access, and reproductive justice. Through public education, community conversations, and outreach, we help combat misinformation and empower people to become informed advocates.

We believe education builds stronger communities and creates the foundation for lasting change.

Legislative Advocacy

Policy Matters

Laws shape access to care, bodily autonomy, and reproductive freedom. WCCC monitors legislation, engages elected officials, supports proactive policies, and mobilizes community action when reproductive rights are threatened.

From local advocacy to state and federal engagement, we work to ensure our voices are heard where decisions are made.

aDVOCACY MATTERS

Why Advocacy Matters

Even where abortion is legal, barriers remain. Geography. Cost. Misinformation. Stigma. Policy restrictions. Advocacy helps dismantle those barriers. Through education and legislative action, we work toward a future where every person can access reproductive health care with dignity, autonomy, and support.
