Knowledge Builds Power

Education is at the heart of our work. At Winnebago County Citizens for Choice, we believe informed communities are stronger communities.

What We Do

Education & Outreach

Reproductive Health and Rights

We share accurate, evidence-based information about the full spectrum of reproductive health care, including contraception, abortion access, bodily autonomy, and reproductive justice.

Public Awareness

Through events, community conversations, and outreach, we work to raise awareness about barriers to care and the realities people face when seeking reproductive health services.

Community Engagement

Education is not one-way it is conversation. We foster connections and create opportunities for people to learn, ask questions, and become advocates in their own communities.

Countering Misinformation

Misinformation about reproductive health can cause confusion, stigma, and harm. We are committed to promoting facts, science, and compassionate understanding.

Impact

Why Education Matters

Reproductive freedom depends on informed communities. Education helps reduce stigma, combat myths, build public support, and empower people to advocate for themselves and others.

  • Reduce stigma surrounding abortion and reproductive health care

  • Combat myths and disinformation

Learn More

Reproductive Justice Is an
Educational Issue

Understanding reproductive justice means recognizing that access to care is shaped by many factors race, income, geography, immigration status, disability, and more. Education helps connect these issues and strengthens our collective ability to create change.
